The small Shime Daiko with its high, penetrating sound is often used set the beat in Taiko.
The KAISER SHIME-DAIKO is made of one solid piece of Ash wood with visible grain and red/brown stained finish. The skins are of cow hide. Bolt screws provide easier and faster tightening of the skins and allow fine tuning.
